The Oops Diaries: Sleep Disorder Helped Derail Perry
"Rick Perry probably had it coming to him. All that swagger. Thirty years in politics and not a single loss. It was like some karmic time bomb had finally gone off. And when the smoke cleared from his presidential campaign disaster, nobody remembered the uninterrupted winning streak. What was left could be reduced to a single word: oops."

From Mitt Romney’s slap at 47 percent of the population that he says mooches off the government to President Obama’s heavily mocked quote about businesses that take too ...

Not being able to have normal sleep is incredibly painful. Then you start worrying about how you're gonna sleep, making the problem worse. After that, you begin to say crazy stuff and everyone starts hating you. Poor baby, he needs to learn to relax. Yoga bro.

So, in the last week, he has been quoted that SATAN is sweeping the land and was responsible for the Constitution having a separation between church / state.
Next he announced that low-income women will be able to seek medical care through an group that provides ZERO health care.
If this is supposed to be: problem identified / solved - this appears to be not the case or misdiagnosed.

It's he the Governor who set the State Mansion on fire when the Texas Historical commission told him his wife can't remodel it?

As a human, which Perry is, his conscience is attacking his weak backbone, and keeping him from sleeping. If anyone attacked innocent hardworking people like Perry has and does, they will not sleep well either.
I'm sure Cruz, Romney do not sleep well either.

I'm at a loss as to the "Swagger" Perry had/has referred to. Give any politician ans the opposition will try to create a gaff for exaggeration. The "Streaking Texas Turkey" in fact did flame out over Oppsville and all his handlers are working hard to put Humpty back together again for yet another run. Look at it from an independent's view point. The Trifecta teams wound up with not the first, second or third candidate, but the richest who bought himself the nomination. Gaff aside, the TEA-Republican parties joined with the Evangelicals and Libertarians to oust moderates and are now stuck with what's-his-name. Texas is now split between TEA, Evangelical and that once proud party of Lincoln. The republican convention showed in spades the gross incompetence and prejudices of the extreme controllers in the party. Their platform reeks of segregation and their timing and planning exposed their true vision. All the excuses placed forward are additional falsifications to limit fall-out from Perry gaffs and the contempt this party has for the common man in America. notice I wrote "man" because this segregationist party demeans women and tries to effect voter disenfranchisement across the nation. What turned me personally off was the in-actions of the eight on stage in Florida who did not shut down the audience when a soldier, in uniform, in theater merely asked about DADT and was booed. This party does not represent all the people. They are the resurgence of bigotry and prejudice in America.

Hope this is a lesson learned for Gov Perry. I have always maintained that Perry is a good governor when he is in bed and sound asleep. He only starts having problems when he wakes up and starts doing things. Here's a tip Gov Rick, consciousness is not your forte....stay asleep more.

Is that pain in his foot and leg anything like the one in my posterior that has been there since Perry took office?

Guess we got tired of rick ripping us off. BTW nice to see them finishing the overpasses at 290 West. Perry's friend that got the no-bid contract, started the construction, took the money, declared bankruptcy, and left half the overpass to hang in the balance like a stairway to heaven is no where to be found. Pad my Pocket Perry. WE don't like you.

If I had to choose between reading this book and waterboarding, I'd probably choose waterboarding. Sleep problems? Really?

Jay, do you have sources for this other than the Perry campaign? Did you talk to any doctors, see any medical charts? And if so, how do they explain his buffoonary after huffing on his CPAP?
