Rick Perry Loyalists Make Case for His Comeback
A new poll shows Gov. Rick Perry's approval numbers in Texas are tanking after his failed run for the presidency. But as the Tribune's Thanh Tan reports, Perry's defenders are quick to warn his political enemies that he remains a powerful figure.

Dear Texas Tribune: I deeply appreciate what you do, but lets let Gov. Good Hair wallow in his much-earned embarrassment and irrelevancy for a while and not cover him. It is not shocking that sycophantic Republican consultants and lobbyists are saying sycophantic things on this subject. The legislative session starts in 11 months.
