Perry Accuses Opponents of "Sounding Like Liberals"
Gov. Rick Perry fired back at former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, his top GOP opponent, on Romney's home turf on Tuesday night, speaking at a banquet for a conservative think tank, The Pioneer Institute. Without naming names, Perry — clearly speaking about Romney — said other candidates were flip-flopping on Social Security and "sounding like liberals," according to audio of the event provided by WBUR Public Radio in Boston.

When he was a Democrat was he considered a liberal because he
needed money to save the family farm in 1977?? got a new low
interested loan from government.. he took farm subsidies until 1998
when he was running with Bush..after that he voted against the
subsidies... all Democrats are not liberal but his records shows he is.
He will always have his hand out when he can get a fed check..
He didn't even mention that Obama called HIM and told him he had

Perry obviously doesn't know that his political philosophy is correctly termed "neo-liberalism." However, my Republican great-great grandfather was the first "conservative" Union foot officer into Richmond, at the head of his 9th Vermont troops. Sadly, his generation liberally neglected to deport Perry's ancestors and their peculiar ilk, leaving their spawn to desecrate the South once again with their love of superstition and ignorance. If Perry is elected, we can expect the US to skip second-world status in its rush into the third world.

..rick perry and the 20% of this country that he represents hate liberals. they think the country would be better off if everyone thought like them. they hate government and think the country would be better off if they could "get government out of our lives". they hate moderate democrats and republicans, whom they lump in with liberals. they hate public education and want to replace it with vouchers. they hate social security and medicare and want everybody to just take care of themselves. just what is it that they love so much about america?

Gov. Perry is absolutely correct. Even some of the TEA party folks have bent in the political wind. Our vote last year voiced an opinion of our displeasure with the "establishment" whether democrat or republican...and that has not changed. It is definitely refreshing to hear from a man who speaks his mind and stands behind his decisions.

What is scary is Perry show more concern for illegal aliens then Americans this should get everyone attention. I think he would sell Americans out to another dream act and we all know bottom line to our nation is cost that illegal immigration brings to us all from top to bottom all areas. I know for a fact there is a list for housing and many Americans are on this list but there are illegal aliens filling these homes mean while Americans are homeless.

Let's stop calling names and review reality for America. Perry takes credit for Oil Patch jobs here in Texas as if he generated these jobs. He didn't. Perry has been lost spiritually, morally and politically! Perry went to a favorable state to campaign while Texas burns! Rick Perry and the state's legislators gutted the fire fighters Budget in this last session. This Florida TEA party so-called debate was a re-hash of the same with no real solutions to the job and housing crisis we have. No one really addressed the issues that are on the minds of most Americans and 24% of the black community! This crop of wanna-bees are so wrapped up in themselves, they have lost the people who could vote in 2012! Black unemployment surged to 16.7% in August, its highest level since 1984, while the unemployment rate for whites fell slightly to 8%, the Labor Department reported. None of these contenders even addressed the president's' job plan. Bachmann and Romney called Reagan's name to further attention on their comments, and they should be reminded that, Reagan is dead! They can call his name out all they want, he's still dead! Rick Perry has overseen 234 death row executions — more than any other governor in modern history. However, at the Reagan library, the Republican debate crowd went wild, as they did in Florida's TEA party debate, in what was easily the biggest applause line of the night. This tells you exactly where the TEA and GOP parties stand on executions! Rick Perry allowed Todd Willingham to be murdered in the name of Texas and our citizens just as he was about to be proven innocent by the "Innocence Project". Perry has been in the news about getting funds from Merck for their HPV inoculations of pre-teens and teenagers from a company who had given him over $30,000.00, and forcing through the "Trans-Texas Corridor" at the expense of Texans!n A career politician who has no clue how to get us out of this budgetary morass we're in!

First of all, Perry is a classical neo-liberal (in the original meaning of the term) but remarkably ignorant. If he were well-educated hed know that in a world with fixed resource parameters, consumer-driven corporate capitalism is the ultimate in Ponzi schemes; the last generation gets to choose (in resource-exhausted anarchy) between impoverished cannibalism and impoverished starvation.
