Video: Cornyn, Vitter and Coburn on Akin and the GOP
This afternoon, at an event co-produced by the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, I asked U.S. Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas; David Vitter, R-La.; and Tom Coburn, R-Okla., to assess the fallout from the refusal of U.S. Rep. Todd Akin, R-Mo., to quit his U.S. Senate race.

Yep because he told the truth. Pay attention to what the GOP have done, are doing and will/plan to do NOT what they say. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-j-elisberg/todd-akin-republican-party_b_1821534.html

Justice Cornyn, he's "your" candidate. It is what it is. Live with it. The women of Missouri will speak.

I have a very tiny violin that makes no sound, just for times like this, for people who don't deserve any pity, like John Cornyn.
Akin's a mess....YOUR PARTY'S mess, which your party totally deserves because:
How is Todd Akin's opinion different from the GOP's official platform?
The only reasons you hate him now: 1) Akin said your beliefs out loud and 2) looks like people don't like your beliefs when they actually hear them.

You promise John?

The only way this could be funnier, is if David Vitter was wearing the diaper he used with the Prostitutes.

Vitter: If we need a distraction, we would be discussing your penchant for prostitutes and wearing diapers.

Listening to this tape, what these GOP are now saying is that Akin must leave because his position is so vastly different from the GOP. HUH? The draft GOP Platform is the same as AKIN's and now they want him to go away - what a bunch of hooey!
Distraction? Seriously - this takes away every women's option, especially with regards to RAPE.
Not to mention the GOP Sanctity of Life issue - which will end the most common methods of birth control. Why didn't these guys discuss this as well - they are trying to NOT discuss issues that will affect most women, even GOP/ TP women.
