Video: CD-35 Candidates Mix It Up
On Friday's episode of Texas Week, the public affairs program produced by San Antonio public television station KLRN, host Rick Casey interviewed Maria Luisa Alvarado, Sylvia Romo and Lloyd Doggett, who are competing to be the Democratic nominee in newly created Congressional District 35. About half of CD-35's population is in Bexar County, including much of inner-city San Antonio. About a third is in Travis County, including East Austin. The remainder is in Hays, Caldwell and Comal counties.

Did Ms Romo really use a comparrison to a vasectomy to say Congressman Doggett cannot understand women's issues? And to pull the Sotomayor "I takes a woman" to say she is a better contender. Oh no.
