After reading the section regarding Perry's new Insurance Commissioner, I have to ask: Is there any semblance of integrity left in the GOP, have they descended into such corruption that they just don't care what their actions look like. Holding a fundraiser for her former Governor, whose endorsement is desperately needed by Perry's failing campaign for President. It smells, but needless to say, this form of crony capitalism has been a hallmark of Perry's terms as Governor. So if you have been denied a claim, or gouged by your insurance company, don't bother filing a claim with the Insurance Commissioner, she has been bought and paid for.

Then there is the entire Morton wrongful conviction debacle in Williamson County. Is it completely lost on the Williamson County voters that every official involved in this case is a Perry republican? Do they care about justice in Williamson County? Ken Anderson and his staff despite being officers of the court, deliberately withheld information from Morton's defense attorney. The current DA, Bradley tried to keep this information from coming to light as well (is it any wonder he was chosen by Perry to shut down the Willingham investigation). If justice is the goal for Williamson County, they need to recall Bradley and demand the removal of Judge (how laughable) Ken Anderson.
