Wake me when Perry and Cornyn say something of substance and stop politicking.
They denounce the federal government at every turn, boast about Texas' self sufficiency, belittle the greater disasters in the Southeast, and then cry and throw a tantrum when they don't get federal attention and dollars. They're the essence of what people dislike most about politicians.

Maybe people in the Obama Administration read "Fed Up" and decided to put it into practice, starting with the state that has constantly cried "hands off!" to Washington. Texas deserves far less than it gets from Washington as the (politically) petulant bratty child of the United States.

I don't believe a word that Perry or Cornyn say, they're hypocrites! Hey Perry since you didn't use the rainy day funds on education how about using some of it to help the people affected by the fires.
