Once again, Perry opens his mouth and I disagree with almost everything he says. I resent the fact that he portrays Christians as hate-filled and intolerant. I'm a moderate, independent voter and consider myself, and I think others do also, a committed and spirit-filled Christian. The far right, in my opinion, doesnt always portray the teachings of Jesus - forgiveness, kindness, charity,, and a servant mentality. Perry certainly doesn't portray those qualities.

A man has to have a certain contempt of his country to be so anxious to divide it. As a Christian and a Texan I'm deeply ashamed that this man can pretend to represent my faith or my home state.
