- Cruz and Dewhurst agree: Obama immigration shift is ‘blatantly’ and ‘cravenly’ political (Houston Chronicle): "When it comes to immigration policy, Ted Cruz and David Dewhurst have exchanged some heated words recently. But when it came to President Obama’s announcement today of a new policy to allow some students brought illegally into the U.S. to avoid deportation, the Texas Republican Senate runoff rivals were in agreement. And they were steamed. 'President Obama has repeatedly defied the Constitution and flouted the rule of law,' said Cruz, the state’s former Solicitor General. 'His latest decision to refuse to enforce ...

Oh please, even Good Hair sees the value in helping these DREAM-eligible young people. And it always amuses me to hear Tea Partiers complain about others flouting the constitution when they seem to think it only consists of the 2nd and 10th amendments.

Thats True , it really is an insult to those immigrants who did all the right measures to become citizens , and His continuous decisions to over ride Laws in progress is making him seem like a Dictator and not as a Democratic Leader, I also believe this was a political move on his behalf . More and more the american people are being told not to question him or his decisions, and that alone is scary

Shout it from the Highest Peak...now that you have citizenship after your father fled Cuba after fighting for Castro. I support Huckabee...we are a better country than punishing children for parents misdeeds.

Shut it down we have enough undereducated cheap labor already to satisfy the greedy! After all only they freaking matter. What does improving life for all gonna do for the ones that have it all. Less demand on government? Hell no! We can't have that now can we. Why even have a freaking presidential institution if we are gonna spit in it like all of the f_____g radicals!
B_____s! go freaking do your selves! Loser, self centered, non-American b___tards!

Will someone please get these teabags a copy of the Constitution? It's getting embarrassing.

LOL at all these concern trolls. Yeah, I'm sure you care deeply about those waiting in line. No one believes you.

In the U.S. we have three branches of government Cristina...their respective roles are spelled out with specificity in the CONSTITUTION. The president cannot MAKE laws. His job is to enforce the laws the Congress crafts and passes. Last check, there was nothing on the books to allow those in the country illegally equal access to American jobs. His only motivation is pandering to those stupid enough to believe he actually gives a rats ass about them. Obama has one goal: Obama.

It blows my mind that people would pitch a fit over Obama granting WORK PERMITS, not citizenship, to young people that have spent all of or nearly their whole lives in the States, but not raise an eyebrow when a president grants spying and wiretapping warrants on all citizens. I guarantee none of these complainers have ever been face to face with a DREAMer... They'd realize the great potential these young people offer our country (and they'd be paying taxes as they do now). I'd much prefer them over some of the idiots that are blessed with U.S. citizenship as a birth right. This may be a political move by Obama, but it is also a humane one. Humanity is something many of these commenters are clearly lacking.

Said the beneficiary of the dry foot policy. What is the difference between an undocumented Cuban and a Mexican on miami beach. The Cuban gets papers and the Mexican is a bad guy,,,,, pathetic!!!
