Well it all evens out because Dewhurst doesn't represent my values.

Well Mr. Dewhurst, you don't represent all Texan's values either. I'm so sick of these Texas politicians trying to out-stupid each other.
Karen Spivey-Cummings via Texas Tribune on Facebook
Uh, I don't think much of Texas values these days.
Randy Case via Texas Tribune on Facebook
I'm with you, Karen.

I think Hitler would've called it 'nationalism' and Dewhurst is a 'stormtrooper' in the Munich of his imagionation, a/k/a Texas.
Michelle Michon via Texas Tribune on Facebook
Well, someone needs to tell Mr. Dewhurst that Texas isn't a State of haters. Vote Texas BLUE!
Randy Case via Texas Tribune on Facebook
The only sentence I agree with in Ted Cruz's ads is "Dewhurst: Wrong for Texas".

Jesus let it go...there are plenty of gays in Texas too. We are teaching illegal kids to be as gay

Ted Cruz is a boring lawyer, a pompous ass and he'll tow the GOP party line like a bitch-slapped lobbyist

Dewhurst needs to pay attention to Texas needs & not worry about Chicago...& he doesnt have my values either
Justin Mills via Texas Tribune on Facebook
Dewhurst's continual lies don't represent my values either.
Tim Spotswood via Texas Tribune on Facebook
If Dewhurst and Cruz are really our only options then we Texans are screwed anyway. Straight or gay!
Bambi Clark via Texas Tribune on Facebook
Both Dew and Cruz will only bow to their corporate masters and continue the same trickle up agenda using social issues to distract us while America is fleeced.

As mayor of Chicago, Illinois, why should Rahm Emanuel represent "Texas values?"
Dale Thompson via Texas Tribune on Facebook
I've been a Texan all my life, and David Dewhurst does not represet my value or Texas values.

The Texas Observer, in their July issue did a great job of reporting in an article by Forrest Wilder entitled The Bitter Fruit of Texas Austerity.
The facts and statements are there for all to see. If nothing changes from what Forrest Wilder outlined the future lof Texas is a bleak place. Our children and grandchildren face a crumbling public school system gridlocked and deteriorating roads, poor public health care and both water and energy shortages. These are all things that the state government should and can deal with, but will not under Republican leadership. Your vote this year is more important than it has ever been. We simply cannot continue on the path that is now being taken. Dewhurst will do nothing and Cruz will make things worse. Please think about this seriously. There is another choice. One thing for sure... it can't get worse... maybe it will get better.

My question to Dewhurst: And your point is?

When will the American public realize that folks want to become politicians, in this modern era, to be in 'The Club". It's a sure fire way to become rich. Both parties, while appearing to serve the general populace, don't really care about anything but the corporate powers that gave them money to become a 'politician'. And they're own bank account. Simple concept but absolutely the truth. I hope a
