Why would you slam this? It is perfectly reasonable to use painkillers following surgery and perfectly understandable that Gov. Perry would not want to discuss the matter openly on the campaign trail but perfectly stupid not to accept an excuse for some serious rhetorical flubs by any other name when it parades itself right in front of you.

Perfectly understandable and reasonable to use painkillers and as a reason for his oddball performance that night. Sure as hell is a lot better than him being completely off his rocker that night.

If his lack of eloquence if from sustaned use of pain killers, them maybe he can get a reference on a drug rehab center from Rush and take care of his problem. Of course admitting it would be the first step.
