After the biggest week of his political career, Julián Castro already has plans for his newfound national stardom.
The San Antonio mayor, whose keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday thrust him squarely into the national spotlight, will stump for President Barack Obama in swing states throughout the fall, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Castro began his tour on Sunday in Virginia, where he spoke to students at George Mason University and to a group of campaign volunteers in Fairfax. The Express-News reports that Castro may also travel to Colorado, Florida and Nevada ...

Julian Castro will join the ranks of illustrious Democrats like Bill Clinton - one of the best Democrats ever. Democrats will be the future of this country. They will bring enlightenment, education, gracious government and intelligence to a country that will prosper again and be the envy of the entire world. Give them a chance to get past all the hypocrisy and lies and traitorous endevours of the faux religious Republicans. Tea Party Republicans will be sorry they decided to use Jesus Christ as a club to use on the rest of us. They will be sorry for a long time.
