The Great Wall of China was a massive failure, as is any wall or fence between the USA & Mexico. (And the drug war is a century-old American failure)

1) Glad democrats are getting noticed.
2) The Berlin wall was built solely to keep people locked in. You could get into the East, you could not get out. The lack of historical accuracy is sad.
