@TexasTribune, can you verify - in the article you say that Sen. Shapiro's bill on mandate relief includes the cap on class size. I don't think that component is in this bill. Will you check and repost? Thanks!

Governor Perry- are you reading this? Please introduce REAL emergency legislation in the special session.
BAN THE SALE OF FIREWORKS IN THE STATE THIS SUMMER.
Man up, and take charge of the fire situation your own self. The state is a tinderbox. Give the firefighters of this state a breather, and BAN THE SALE OF FIREWORKS.

Let's face it - these Yahoos in Austin are not doing their job! This session was to fix the budget shortfall to allow school districts to reset their budget. What do they do is meet for ten minutes and recess. NO PAY! Do not pay anyone anything at all. They have totally neglected their job! There is gross incompetence in Austin. Texas - This is what you get in a one party state! I emphasize: One party state with Social Conservatives implementing religious legislation to their likening whether Texans want it or not! The question is: who are these self appointed righteous politicians to force their Social/religious conservative values on the American public? Who do these people think they are to shove their agenda down the throat of the American public?

SlickRick should be in prison for what he has done to Texas! If you look at his squintie little eyes and fake smile, you will see the nasty, lying, theiving, self serving, smug, Christmas Grinch. I was born here in Austin and this is my home, however; I could not have imaginized what Perry has done to this state in my worst nightmare! Perry, get out of Texas!
