Texas is not independent. We just do not serve our poor, disabled or elderly adequately in Texas. But, we sure can dole out taxpayer money to Perry's cronies/contributors and wealthy Corporations who don't need welfare but demand it or they will act like spoiled children and take their toys and leave. We are held hostage because Rick Perry and the Texas legislature allow this to happen.
