TribLive: Why Dewhurst is on TM's Worst List
At this morning's TribLive conversation, the authors of Texas Monthly's biennial Best and Worst Legislators story, senior executive editor Paul Burka and senior editor Nate Blakeslee, explained why they took the unusual step of including a member of the leadership, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, on the Ten Worst list.

"Why is the inclusion of Dewhurst on Worst List not an in-kind contribution to the Ted Cruz campaign?" I'm not sure it's not actually an in-kind to the Dewhurst campaign. I don't know that being on the Worst list hurts the GOP members who are on it all that much.

To the know nothings that constitute a large part of the R primary voters, being on a Worst list from the "lame stream" media is a badge of honor. But kudos to TT for telling the story.

Texas Monthly's list is so true! The person/s at the top, Perry and the Texas' Social Conservative Libertarian religious group(Texas House4 and Senate) in passing frivolous legislation. Instead, they failed to attack the budget and provide funding for Texas school children. They passed extraneous laws that had nothing to do with jobs or the economy, but rather their religious beliefs.
