Veronica Gonzales, D-McAllen, and Aaron Peña, R-Edinburg, discussed cuts to public education, redistricting and other by-products of the 82nd Legislative Session.

Pena's ego is as big as his face. And that's pretty big. What a sellout. Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ as you leave.

He can rule out winning, though.

I was impressed with how Sen Hinojosa and Rep V Gonzales articulated their positions and how their policies would help people in the Rio Grande Valley and others across Texas. On the other hand, I have to say that Mr. Pena, when asked to defend his position as a Republican, he kept saying he did not agree with those positions. I think Mr. Pena represents himself. He fits the mold of a Perry Republican - a little wishy washy on the issues, when asked.
