A Conversation With Three Incoming House Members

On Thursday, for our first TribLive conversation of 2011, I interviewed three incoming members of the Texas House: Larry Gonzales, R-Round Rock; Jason Isaac, R-Dripping Springs; and Paul Workman, R-Austin. We talked about, among other things, the House leadership battle, the looming budget shortfall, immigration, the Tea Party and how the 35 newbies elected in November will navigate what is sure to be a contentious legislative session.
