Perry Pleads Again for Drones, National Guard
With the violent Mexican drug war creeping ever closer to the Texas side of the border, Gov. Rick Perry is calling again for the federal government to put unmanned aerial vehicles and National Guard troops on the Texas-Mexico border.
"Over the weekend, more innocent people fell victim to the increasingly ruthless Mexican drug cartels, including the murder of a pregnant American woman and her American husband in Juarez," Perry said. "How many Americans will have to die before our federal government takes serious action along the Texas-Mexico border?"

It is absolutely offensive for Perry to use the deaths in Juarez of these three Americans to campaign. He should be ashamed. Drones and/or National Guard troops would have done nothing to prevent these tragic deaths.

If only there was some way for the coyotes and drug lords to download the raw video feeds from the drones... like Skygrabber - satellite internet downloader. And a youtube video describing how it works...

Surely Perry wants the drones to patrol the Red River and Sabine to keep the federal government from crossing into Texas and burdening us with their onerous requirements attached to funding.
