Drawbacks Seen With Having National Guardsmen on Border
When the Obama administration announced in December that it would draw down the number of National Guard units that patrol the southern border, critics said the decision would leave Texas vulnerable to spillover violence from Mexico.
The administration, which last month reduced the number of guard troops on the border from 1,200 to about 300, defended the move as a step toward better efficiency. The mission of the guardsmen was shifted from ground surveillance and assisting the U.S. Border Patrol to primarily aerial surveillance efforts.
But as the debate on how to best secure the border with Mexico ...

Obama wants our country flooded with illegal aliens and some could be terrorist with dirty bombs. I do not think Americans want this to happen. Obama is counting on illegal aliens to stuff ballot boxes for him. American must not allow this to happen call your congress person and senators to put a stop to this now.
Anyone but Obama and democrats!

Ever notice how you don't see thousands...millions of illegal aliens walking up and down the highways?
That's because they are riding in buses, cars and trucks to their destinations here in the US. The human smugglers have control of everything... How are these hundreds of buses crossing our borders daily without being searched or the occupants being asked for papers at the border crossings? They are able to cross the border without any problem but yet when they reach the Border Patrol stop 30 miles inland, they have all exited the bus and are roaming through ranches to avoid the BP stop and then they re-board the buses furthur down the road....
Once they pass this point, they are home free...
This goes on all day long, every day.
Why and how is this going on?

But anyone living on the boarder will tell you that it's a war zone. Speaking of violating treaties, Mexico owes the United States over one billion gallons of water under the 1944 Water Treaty as they continue to suck the Rio Grande dry.

Henry is very funny ,, suggesting that leaving 300 guardsmen on the border equals 300 planes in the air,,,, I guess that is what he meant? The border should be seen as " militarized." How else do you fight organized crime and deter illegal immigration otherwise? The problem was the guard was being too effective. Who cares what Mexico thinks? The government of Mexico is very happy to have as many of their citizens as possible come to the U.S. ,,,, work and send billions of $ back to Mexico . The greatest export product of Mexico contributing to the GDP for years has been Mexicans themselves ,,, only second to the money brought in by the drug trade.

Obama's more worried treaties with Mexico than the security of America. I would like him to live on southern border for one week and then tell us how secure we area. November can't get here soon enough!

"...may lead to the perception that the border is militarized, which could hinder binational agreements between the U.S. and Mexico aimed at fighting organized crime on the border."
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED, OUR SOVERIGN TERRITORY HAS BEEN VIOLATED BY MEXICAN GANG VIOLENCE AS FAR AS LAS VEGAS!
READ ABOUT PANCHO VILLA AND WHAT WE DID ABOUT HIM.

Gosh, I would hope the illegals and the drug traffickers would know our border was militarized...

Word from south Texas deer hunters, as per BP agents, they have been told to stand down and stay in the office rather that out in the field apprehending human traffickers, illegal aliens and drug mules. Obama wants the numbers to show lower numbers so that he can lie to the country telling us that illegal immigration is down now....
What is goin on at our border is like pitting a stick in an ant bed. The more you stirr them up the more they spread.....
The wall is the only way to stop this for good....
