he also said foreign policy IS a TX governor's issue and is important everyday. so think about it everyday, but dont do anything about it, let the feds handle it...? whu?

Not sure why Richardson came up, but it should be noted that he did his time in the diplomatic corps, so it's not really odd that he might be suited to negotiate with foreign governments (and considering the outcome, I think we can agree that it wasn't such a bad idea).

Specifically, Richardson went to North Korea because they asked for him and it was cleared with the State Dept. Seems like he helped defuse a tense situation. Kind wish he was sitting in the White House.
