"For whatever reason"... ? Sounds like someone needs to have some additional time to think through his actions and take some accountability...

I was just commenting on Tom Delay defrauders and know there is a story about his partner in crime trying to sound like he's the solution.
Scary.
Texas is already known as the corruption capital of America. How does it still manage to give a microphone to people like Abramoff, Gramm, Delay, Perry, and how NOT to run finances, public land, environmental responsibilities, oil disasters, deprived healthcare, abusive youth correction centers, anti-education, employment rights, consumer targeted abuses, etc, etc.
No more. Texas has lost its' luster these last 20 yrs.

Having read the Abramoff emails, it seems obvious to me that the man is a racist. If he had used the same terms that he used in discussing his American Indian (Native) clients , in referencing other racial groups, he'd never be getting the level of interviews and speech invitations he now enjoys. Abramoff can talk about ethics and reform all he wants, but that isn't addressing his views on Native peoples and the contempt he so clearly has for them. Go back and read the emails and look at the derogatory terms he used about American Indians..
