Straus is a deal make just like Obama and made a committment to the Dems to not let any immigration bills on the floor and with the help of Burt Solomons, he kept that promise - we need honest leadership in our Texas legislature and people who will do the will of the people and people in TX are supporting the AZ law big time!!

With the "replace all" movement advancing in Texas, he may well be replaced and there will be even less seniority. Which I think is a good thing. Personally I support Term Limits in a big way.

Texas has some serious issues going on internally . Career politicians are not a good thing when senior members are not part of solutions in Texas and are intentionally creating problems.
Age isn't a number it is a mentality. Old herd mentality is out, as is heard of hearing , so is angry fear mongering, and trying to relive the old south era .... .
Funny how the odd balls out are trying to act like they are the ones on the in crowd.
