Simpson, Tea Party Favorite, May Run for Speaker
State Rep. David Simpson of Longview, a libertarian-leaning Republican who rode to office with heavy Tea Party support two years ago, is considering a run for Texas House speaker, he told The Texas Tribune late Monday night.
“I have not made a decision. People have asked me to run, yes,” Simpson said. “I’m praying about it. And I’ll do the right thing.”

First I'd like to know the definition of a tea partier. Would this be defined as someone who participates in their government? If so, shouldn't that include all citizens in America? I will advise that you will never find one person that agrees with you on all political subjects. If you do, someone's not thinking.

That's the first sign to not re-elect David Simpson to office. He prays before making his decision. Simpson is a TEA party hardhead, bent on destroying what is left of Texas' reputation nationwide. He and Rick Perry will not get along and his agenda is contrary to everything good. Texas doesn't need another skewed notion on religion given the TEA fringe fanatics who made Ted Cruz the junior Senator from Texas. Sadly, Texas has Libertarian isolationist, TEA party retro-state radicals, Evangelical die-hard's working to bring religion into the state house and Republican right-of-center moderates. There's going to be a fight and Texans will have to make a huge change in 2014!

Looking closely at my wording, you will find my rant is against TEA party fringe hard-heads. I pray for my own personal salvation and do not force my skewed notions or issues down anyone else's throat, which is exactly what TEA party fringe do. TEA party fringe call for smaller government - that's good, except they stand by and allow the other fringe element - Evangelicals legislating their religious beliefs onto those who are not of their religion. If you don't know this(forced Sonograms/Ultrasounds) is a religious belief shoved down people's throat, you have blinders on! At 70 years of age, I have plenty of tolerance and am not ignorant as I have attained enough wealth and experience to call religious zealots exactly what they are! America was founded on separation of church and state, and fringe elements have piece-mealed their beliefs into regions as states under the (R) when they should have used the scarlet (T) or purple (E). Hard-lined confrontationalist will be culled out over the next elections if they do not changed their ways.
