I hope our Texas leaders are listening we need a Republican leader like David Simpson to lead in the house for Texans not a pretend rino like Joe Straus who does democrats bidding. Enough throw the bum out and let David do the job Joe should have done if he was a true republican.

I think we need Straus for speaker. As this article states, Straus is able to reach across the isle and get things done. Putting someone in who is just going to cause more tension doesn't seem to be what is best for our state right now.

If you're tired of politics as usual, then elect a new party. Here are your choices: Republican, Democrat, or Koch party. If you vote the Koch Party than you will enjoy increased lines at the DMV, privatized social security, no environmental regulations, millions of staving people, and cuts in all other public services. Be careful what you wish for. If you don't like government or taxes than move to Somalia, they don't have either one.
