Candidates for Speaker Answer Tea Party Questions

Straus on AZ immigration law: "I do not want Texas to start pulling people over based on the color of their skin." The AZ law does not allow the police to pull people over based on skin color. A statement like that is blatant fear mongering and does not belong in an honest debate of the issues.

Funny how Paxton’s sinister deceptions are growing as beans soaking in a pot of water from the few remaining Paxton paid supporters merely demonstrating their desperation currently using insider push poll "straw polls" as Paxton's only support; simply politics at its ugliest. I appreciate someone from the Tea Party making an effort do inform others, instead of simply launching false attacks against Mr. Straus. I believe Mr. Straus is the the best man to lead the House this session. He has proven he has the mindset and leadership skills needed to get conservative and responsible legislation passed, and I have full faith he will continue to do so. I look forward to watching him lead again this session.
