TribBlog: Half of Texans Want to Halt HC Reform
The latest Rasmussen poll reports 56 percent of likely Texas voters support suing the federal government to stop health care reform from becoming law. Lucky for them, Attorney General Greg Abbott has already filed such a suit, in conjunction with attorneys general from more than a dozen other states. The telephone survey found 37 percent of Texas voters oppose the lawsuit.
Not surprisingly, support for repealing health care reform is higher in Texas than it is nationally (67 percent of Texas voters want to repeal it).
