The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimates the funding for 25 new or improved health centers will serve 78,479 patients across the state.

Yeah, because Texas is going to secede, or doesn't need the federal government, or some other stupid shit from Rick Perry's mouth...what an idiot. That's why Texas comes in dead last in almost every category from literacy, to health care, to number of insured, to those in poverty, and teenage pregnancies. Thanks, Rick. I know. There were three things you were going to do, but you can't remember them right now.

In Texas , and so typical in the South, all Republicans running in primaries this Spring are running huge ads convincing the electorate that they are wholly supported by the Tea Party.
Like being supported by a bunch of lunatics is a good thing.
For instance: Five days before he is scheduled to appear at a Tea Party rally in Austin alongside U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz released two new TV ads highlighting supporters from around the state, including several conservative activists.
"I'm Standing with Cruz" is set to air statewide on both cable and broadcast networks starting Wednesday, a campaign spokesman said. While Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and former Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert have already aired ads on the more expensive broadcast networks, this is the Cruz campaign's first ad that won't air solely on cable.
The ad shows a series of people affirming their support for Cruz in the U.S. Senate race, including Dave Nalle, chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus, and Konni Burton, vice president of the NE Tarrant Tea Party.
People in the South, the ones that are not braindead, are hoping these ads and the millions of dollars spent by the Tea Party, will in fact have a really big negative result.
Another year and he Tea Party will be just another dead rat.
