New Mexico Regulator To Be Regional EPA Chief
Ron Curry, a former New Mexico environmental regulator, will become the new regional head of the Environmental Protection Agency, overseeing the multi-state area that includes Texas. He replaces Al Armendariz, who resigned in the spring after a video surfaced in which he compared his oil and gas enforcement philosophy to the ancient Romans crucifying the Turks.

Mr Curry may be a hope for the petro-chemical companies in SE Texas. He has shown the ability to work with business while maintain the letter and spirit of the law, but in major areas like Houston and south Louisiana. I pray for the him and he hopefully fixes the problems associated pollution without destroying the industries that provide so many peoples' livelihood.
