I'm pleased to report that, effective today, the Trib has a dedicated energy reporter on staff: Kate Galbraith, formerly of The Economist and The New York Times. A native of Washington, D.C., Kate has a bachelor's degree in English from Harvard University and a master's degree from The London School of Economics; she also spent a year as a Nieman Fellow at Harvard.
