In Texas, Moving Crude Relies on Aging Pipeline System

All politics aside,,,literally. I worked for a company that was just 'clearing' the brush and trees off the Longhorn Pipeline, and we had more trouble from the conservationists than the land owners. Much less try digging one up to put another down. There has to be some give on the side of the conservationists. The landowners are locked into that specific section of land, and yet the Federal and State conservationists still tell the landowner, and pipe line operators how to conduct their business.
