Not sure why there is so much support for Rick Perry in the media. As a life-long republican from Texas, we know he is all about opportunity, and not all about being conservative. His tone seems to change like the wind. He was a backer of Al Gore for Christ’s sake. When the cameras are not on, he seems to think he’s above the law. If you haven’t seen it, here is a link of him trying to get his driver out of a ticket, recorded from the state trooper’s dash cam.

For those of you interested in Saving Texas Schools, please consider attending a conference that will be held in Downtown Ft. Worth at the Norris Conference Center Sept. 23 and 24. You can get more info at the Save Texas Schools website. Our schools suffered massive cuts this year, and are likely to face even more in the coming years. This conference will have some great speakers and a legislative and superintendent panel that will be answering questions from the attendees. Hope to see you there!

My hope is that Rick Perry will NOT get the chance to do to the U.S. what he did to Texas.

Jeb is a Democrat/Elitist in Repub clothing….. who cares what he thinks…. Perry is in the middle right I think….Perry is much better than Romney any other candidate at this point. I would prefer West or Palin. But they are not in the fray at this time.

The only public institutions Rick Perry gives a rats-ass about are those that can enrich him and his buds (Bob Perry, Gulf States Toyota, Zachry, etc.)!

Where are Perry's defenders? Surely somebody out there thinks Perry has done an exemplary job on Texas education. No? John, if Perry is middle right, I shudder to think of what those on the extreme right are like.
