UT Dean's Ouster Raises Questions About Foundation
Who knew about the $500,000 payment Larry Sager received from the University of Texas School of Law’s foundation — and when — are among the many questions swirling after his surprise ouster as dean last week.
UT President Bill Powers said he was not told about the loan. Sager disputes that account, saying that it is his “clear understanding” the foundation — established in 1952 to help raise private funds for the law school — acted with Powers’ knowledge.

The UT System, in general, deals with way too much money and way too little oversight. Look under a pile of money, and you'll find greed.

What about having Power's resignation, effective immediately since he was also doing the same thing Sager is doing. Apparently, UT only acts offended by such appearances when it suits their agenda.

Austin American Statesman printed the story how Powers also was acting as a bank loan originator. UT system has been doling out big bucks like is was growing on trees for years.
