Tuition Exemptions for Veterans Under the Microscope
Proposed changes to the state policy that waives tuition and most fees for veterans and members of their families are on a list of legislative recommendations up for final approval by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on Thursday.

What ever recommendations are vetted, make sure the program stays in place. It's easy to say you support the troops, put your money where your mouth is. Look closely at the number of severely wounded young troops, consider the same benefits to their legacy family as a fallen solider, again we as Texans owe this debit to them.
