.1 hour ago (10:48 AM) I am a Florida person and was a poll worker in the Bush vs Gore election and a few others. The demographic of Florida voting is mostly old people who own property and go to church they are the people who mainly vote.
It puts a great divide between political office and everything else, the majority of Floridians do not vote or participate in politics in any way. There are five or ten Floridan demographics and they all essentially say in a fashion,we are not with them, (others).
The community of Florida is now so broken that a disgraced health care corporate CEO, who was forced out of his own company due to the largest fraud penalty (1.7 billion) in US history, is now Governor (Rick Scott). How did that happen?
It (Scott's election) happened because of the demographic issue this article speaks about. Florida is past being a train wreck it is off the rails, sinking into the swampy water and nothing will stop it from going under.
Living here one cannot believe what we hear from the current Legislature they put forward the most insane proposals, one after another daily. It is really better to look away and not listen to any of it.
It is literally the dissolution of the community with an overlay of politics that appears to operate by (as if) normal rules, that are just plain fantasy now.
