Morton was released last month after spending nearly 25 years in prison, wrongfully convicted of murdering his wife in 1986. Morton's lawyers have discovered that prosecutors did not turn over to defense attorneys or the trial judge evidence that pointed to another man as the murderer and could ...

Thank Goodness. If this would happen a lot more, then the wrongful imprisonments would happen a lot less.

There cannot be too much pressure exerted on the State Bar, for only that outside pressure will force them to take a strong stand against the prosecutorial misconduct which is so common in this state.

While Mr. Bradley may not have been involved in the alleged prosecutorial misconduct that put Mr. Morton in prison, his fighting the request for DNA testing that subsequently exonerated Mr. Morton resulted in an innocent man spending an additional 6 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. I hope that stays on his conscience the rest of his days.
As for the State Bar, I have little faith in their actions. The higher up the food chain the lawyer is, e.g. a judge or district attorney, the more likely they are to circle the wagons to protect one of their own. I remain hopeful that they will take meaningful action but I am not optimistic. Having been a bar member for almost 28 years, maybe I am just jaded.

And Bernie Madoff and Ken Lay were just misunderstood philanthropists.

I join in many calling on the State Bar to strip these corrupt "officers" of the court of their law license. There corruption and incompetence put an innocent man in prison for 25 years. Their FAILURE to arrest the right person lead to another woman's murder. Boys, you got some blood on your hands!

State Bar of Texas the people are watching you! If you try to "dismiss" these serious grievances with no cause, you have no clue of the public outrage you will create. Then again, I have no doubt you will do what ever it takes to cover for John Bradley and his friends. The pubic demands accountability. You best dispense it.
