Obstacles Hinder California Desalination Innovation

Despite the urgency of water shortages in states known for new technology like California, innovations in providing new water sources, such as desalination, have been few and far between.

Despite the urgency of water shortages in states like California known for new technology, innovations in providing new water sources, such as desalination, have been few and far between. According to some experts, entrepreneurs seem loath to enter the water game, in part because of the expense and in part because the possibilities of new technology seem out of reach. (Fast Company)
