Opponents of the EPA's finalized Clean Water Rule announced last week a push for legislation to block the rule and are preparing lawsuits to challenge it. Supporters of the rule cite weak local controls and lack of enforcement in protecting water, while opponents talk of a power grab by Washington and economic problems for agricultural, energy and home-building industries. (Politico)
