Phil Wilson Named New LCRA General Manager

The Lower Colorado River Authority's board has tapped Phil Wilson, the Texas Department of Transportation's executive director, to be the agency's new general manager.

Leaky Pipes Causing Major Water Loss in Texas

Texas is losing billions of gallons of water each year to aging water pipes. The loss in Houston last fiscal year was 22.4 billion gallons — some 15 percent of its water usage and enough to supply 383,000 residents for a year.
