The U.S. House of Representatives will vote to reinstate three expired education-related tax measures as part of a bill initially opposed by President Obama. If passed, the measures would only extend tax breaks through the end of this year, meaning any benefits to schools, teachers or students would expire Jan. 1. The three measures include an extension of qualified zone academy bonds, teacher expense deductions and tuition deductions. (Education Week)
