Jury Still Out on Local Immigration Enforcement
Wednesday's ruling that the city of Farmers Branch does not have the authority to enact immigration legislation sends a stern warning to municipalities intent on enacting similar laws, attorneys for the plaintiffs argue. But they caution that it doesn’t mean every form of immigration enforcement passed by local or state agencies won't hold up in court.

As I have been saying you give a inch and they want a mile. Bottom line folks the illegal aliens are breaking our laws but yet they are now trying to change our laws give me a break illegal aliens over American citizens is crossing the line and Americans have had enough and if put to a national vote illegal alien will be packing to go home soon.
Mean while Obama and democrats will use them for there own needs VOTES if they can hold the Voter ID laws off will folks we must insist our laws are follow even in California.

This is not, nor should it be, a federal issue.
Cities, towns, and communities have the right to write their own rules according to the wishes of it's citizens. If they wish to list citizenship as a requirement, they have that right.
Big government should never be allowed to pick and choose it's way through a self-governing town's regulations. This is just another nit picking excursion into our rights to deny illegals access to homes and jobs that many rightful citizens are desperate for today.

It's good to see Farmer's Branch overturned. Republicans are pandering to their voters to the detriment of minorities. Thank goodness we have higher courts to enforce laws and not people like Greg Abbott. At some point the Hispanic vote will be felt and we'll get rid of the bigots that run Texas.

I'm much more threatened by an incompetent governor and attorney general and by people like Harold Simmons who wants to keep dumping radioactive waste in TX. Illegal Aliens are NOT being discrimnated against because of their color or clothes; they are discrimanated against because they Illegal Aliens! Farmers pay them under the table and the Illegals do not have to pay their fair share of taxes so they receive free SNAP, free emergency room health care, free school, welfare checks, and are rewarded more for pushing out all the babies these prolific breeders can. Rednecks anti-Latinos like Tim O' Connor and Burt Solomon, Debbie Riddle in Houston, Leo Berman in Tyler, Tommy Williams in The Woodlands will never stop fighting Hispanics, and they do it attacking the weakest point which is the undocumented people. It does not matter how much those people contribute to the economy, and welfare of the state and the country, for the matter. The undocumented issue was created in mid 90's by a racist, Republican politician who saw an issue to gain voters, for one. Then he realized that if undocumented people get their legal status fixed, eventually they would become citizens and would be able to vote. If that so, those would vote democrat. No wonder. For the same reason they do not was to pass the so called Dream Act.

Sam Davis,, I know from your comment you look down on the " little people" that dig your ditches, mow yards, frame houses, lay brick, finish concrete, build roads,construct high rise buildings or any number of the thousands of other skilled blue collar labor jobs. I can understand how , from the long drive that leads up to your mansion, you would rather not see or know these people exist or have families they need to support also. In the late 80's through the 90's an average wage of $15 to $20 an hr was the norm. Today $10 to $12 is average. I suppose from your viewpoint these lowly workers or their families should expect no more,,, after all the government can make up the difference in assistance programs ,,,, RIGHT?
It is obvious you have had no firsthand contact or knowledge in this area , otherwise you would know the prime reason for the low wages in construction especially is the fact that Illegal Aliens have over saturated the labor market and depressed wages. Whatever it is that you do for a living ,, maybe you have no competition and will never fear someone coming along who will do your job for 40% less than you make. There are millions of Americans who are not so lucky and through no fault of their own , lack of competence or job performance,,,, live with this fear daily.
I have been in the business for over 30 years and have fought for my fellow Americans the whole time. I have seen the damage done and know many people who have been affected. I am not in that business now because even with my experience and the level I obtained within the industry,,, my ability to earn what I am worth has been affected also. Your comments and attitude demean hard working Americans who rarely complained or expected anything more than an equal opportunity to earn a decent living and provide for their families like everyone else.

3- Mexico's corruption and drug cartels terrorist tactics, had created an exodus, Mexicans are leaving Mexico by the thousands, the states most affected by this huge migration from Mexico is Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California; Mexicans families enter the USA with visitor pass and over stay in the country, the schools and social services are affected by this huge migration and the cost of educating this new class of immigrants are the American Tax payers.
4- The main stream news media fail to report the truth to the American people. Most of the citizens of this country are not inform of the act of treason perpetrated by this corrupt government.
Fellow American, we must expose the traitors and demand justice for the people of this United States. Do not let this corrupt government destroy our country with their ill policies; we have a Constitution in this United State and laws that need to be enforce.
