An Evening with Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, Authors of "Game Change"

Mark Halperin is the editor-at-large and senior political analyst for Time magazine. He is the author of The Undecided Voter's Guide to the Next President and the coauthor of The Way to Win: Taking the White House in 2008. He has covered six presidential elections, including those during his decade as the political director for ABC News. He lives in Manhattan.

John Heilemann is the national political correspondent and columnist for New York magazine. An award-winning journalist and the author of Pride Before the Fall: The Trials of Bill Gates and the End of the Microsoft Era, he is a former staff writer for The New Yorker, Wired, and The Economist. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.

The discussion will be moderated by The Texas Tribune’s CEO and editor-in-chief, Evan Smith.

Mr. Halperin and Mr. Heilemann will sign copies of Game Change, available for purchase outside the Auditorium, beginning at 5 p.m.  To assure your book purchase, you may place advance orders with the LBJ Museum Store by calling (512) 232-2396.  Books purchased through the LBJ Museum Store will be given priority for signing.

This event is a production of The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum, The Center for Politics and Governance, The Texas Book Festival, and The Texas Tribune.

PLEASE NOTE: The authors will be signing copies of "Game Change" at Book People starting at 12 noon on March 5th. Book People is located at 603 North Lamar Boulevard in Austin.
