Representative Yvonne Davis is small-business owner first elected to represent HD-111 in 1992. She currently serves as the chairwoman of the House Urban Affairs Committee and as a member of the Transportation Committee.
She previously served on the House Land and Resource Management and Ways and Means committees and is a graduate of the University of Houston.
