Telemedicine Program Quickly Spreads to 57 North Texas Schools

In 2013, a telemedicine initiative run by Children’s Health hospital system in North Texas began at two preschools. Today, there are screens and carts in 57 urban and rural campuses.

In 2013, a telemedicine initiative run by Children’s Health hospital system in North Texas began at two preschools. Today, there are screens and carts in 57 urban and rural campuses. It’s now one of the largest school-based telemedicine programs for kids in the country.
