Cornyn and Alameel to Debate

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and his Democratic challenger, David Alameel, will participate in a single televised debate in late October, according to The Dallas Morning News.

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and his Democratic challenger, David Alameel, will participate in a single televised debate in late October, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Cornyn mentioned during a recent meeting with the Morning News' editorial board that he and Alameel had agreed to a single debate. Both campaigns confirmed to the News that the event will be held at Mountain View College in Dallas on Oct. 24. The debate will be broadcast a day later by Univision and will take place in English, with a Spanish simulcast, according to the News.
