Weber's Campaign Twitter Deletes Tweets

In the past two weeks, 95 tweets have been deleted from U.S. Rep. Randy Weber’s campaign Twitter account.
The deleted tweets can, however, be found on the Sunlight Foundation's Politwoops archive. The foundation, which advocates for government transparency, first reported on the mass deletion in a post Thursday morning on its website.
The tweets, some of which were also originally posted on other forms of social media, covered a wide range of weighty topics including the conflict in Syria, the Keystone XL pipeline and the State of the Union address. Other deleted tweets were as simple as prompting users to follow Weber’s congressional Twitter account or commenting on the weather.
Some of the deleted tweets were live on the social media outlet for less than a minute, while others had been online for more than 30 weeks.
The Tribune has left a message with Weber's office for comment. We will update this report when we hear back.
