Video: Ted Cruz Delivers First Formal Senate Speech
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz on Wednesday gave his first formal speech on the Senate floor, urging his colleagues to support an amendment to defund federal health reform. It wasn't the first time Cruz spoke publicly from the chamber; he helped out with Sen. Rand Paul's filibuster last week.

I like the senate's new young guns (Cruz, Lee, Paul, Rubio)...because they are willing to mix-it-up with the old-fart dinosaur senators like McCain, Graham, Reid, Schumer. It ain't your daddy's senate anymore for all those old-farts...who are accustomed to public comity and decorum while making corrupt deals behind closed doors with their top-donor lobbyists by their sides.
These young guns has turned the comity and decorum upside down...and the old-fart dinosaur senators don't have a clue what to do now. What they need to do now is retire.

Personally, while I voted for the other guy, now I'm thrilled to have Ted Cruz in th US Senate. I want him to be the face of the Republican party. Mr. Republican, Ted Cruz. It's just a shame he can't run for President in 2016. I'm a Democrat, of course.

Àny of you able to say exactly what he said that you disagree with ( I bet none listened nor have read what he said) or just spout off with childish insults.

His robot also called me the night before. I didn't listen to it either.

The intellectual content of the criticism him is just staggering! You might just want to listen on the video from about 5 minutes in for awhile; the section on 'the four promises'. I know you don't seem to have any interest in liberal ideas actually ACHIEVING THEIR GOAL, but you should at least hear a few FACTS on how this nightmare has ALREADY failed.
