Ted Cruz: The TT Interview
WASHINGTON — Ted Cruz has only been Texas’ junior U.S. senator for two months, but he has wasted no time propelling himself into national headlines.
His prosecutorial line of questioning of President Obama’s defense secretary nominee, Chuck Hagel — including insinuations that the Vietnam War veteran might have ties to foreign enemies — sparked comparisons to McCarthyism. His rogue style and discounting of so-called rules of decorum has thrilled his ultra-conservative fan base, which hates nothing more than Washington, D.C.’s business as usual. He has even been credited with giving John Cornyn, the senior senator from Texas and the ...

To: The U.S. Senators.
Senator, in case you don’t know; our country is in danger, you must tell the truth, The American people should know the truth. The U.S. News media and some of your colleagues are corrupt to the core they are brainwashing the people with lies, your duty is to inform the American people, use the internet; the readers have the power! They decide which information goes around the globe! You may not be aware of it, but if each reader sends a link to 3 other interested persons, it only takes 20 steps to join 3,486,784,401 people! You want to see it happen? Use the people’s power!
3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 = 3,486,784,401
Senator, help us to spread the truth, pass this on and help us to take our country back. The secret of freedom lies in educating people, whereas the secret of tyranny is in keeping them ignorant.

Sequestration looming.
Senator, the end of the Dollar is near. The Dollar Dump Has Already Begun, foreign countries are calmly and quietly dumping the dollar as a global trade instrument. China, in tandem with other BRICS nations (members of the bloc of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), has been covertly removing the Dollar as the primary trade unit through bilateral deals since 2010. First China and Russia turned their backs on the dollar; the entire ASEAN trading bloc (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and numerous other markets, including Japan, have followed suit.
China in particular has been preparing for this eventuality since 2005, when it introduced the first Yuan-denominated bonds. The bonds were considered a strange novelty back then, especially because China had so much surplus savings that it seemed outlandish for them to take on treasury debt. Today, the move makes a lot more sense. With the proliferation of the Yuan and the conversion of the Chinese economy away from dependence on exports toward a more consumer-based economy, the Chinese have effectively decoupled from its reliance on U.S. markets. Would a collapse in the U.S. hurt China’s economy? Yes. Would it survive? Oh, yes — far better than America would.
Washington and the U.S. news media dare to tell the truth, most Americans believe on the dollar strength and longevity, because the average American is unaware of the facts and are living within the statistical fantasy world reported by the press, Americans simply has no point of reference by which to grasp the truth when exposed to it. It’s like trying to explain the concept of “color” to a man who has been blind since birth. Most Americans are prone to dismiss the truth when exposed to the facts that disrupt their misconceptions, this tends to breed apathy and laziness to seek the truth and be prepare for the coming economic collapse.
There is only one factor that shields the dollar from implosion: its position as the world reserve currency. Without this exalted status, the currency’s value vanishes. Today the Dollar is backed by nothing but massive debt (16.645 Trillion Dollars) that cannot be repaid, it sits frighteningly idle — like a time bomb waiting to explode and destroy our economic. The true threat to the dollar’s supremacy is the constant printing by the private Federal Reserve to cover our constant government deficits and the loss of faith in our currency as a whole. What’s the bottom line? The dollar collapse and this is not “theory” but undeniable fact, driven by concrete action on the part of the very nations that have until recently propped up our debt obligations. It is only a matter of time before the dollar diminishes and fades away. All signs point to a loss of reserve status in the short term.
Senator, the truth is that Washington’s greed for power and money become corrupt and deceived us, from Nixon to Obama they represent only the corporate world, not the American people, we cannot trust the corrupt Washington politicians; our salvation are the honest politicians that must work in unity so we can survive the coming catastrophe.
This is what you and the Washington politicians must do:
1- Federal and State Government must cut expenses, by the elimination of programs that are not essential and will not have any impact on the security of our country.
2- Cut from the food stamps programs all items that are not of any nutrition value,
3- Cut all farm subsidy to the industrialized farming and introduce and especial subsidy support to family farming that produce organic produce
4- Made all federal and state motor vehicle transportation natural gas operational.
5- Cut transportation meals and logging allowances for all government representatives and employees.
6- Cut all non-essential research programs.
7- Close U.S. military post in Foreign countries
8- Close all military aid to foreign countries.
9- Investigate social security, medic aid, food stamps and all social service fraud.
10- Investigate fraud and over charge on all governments contracts.

The reporter really lost control of this interview early on. Compare the questions asked to what Cruz actually said, and note the lack of follow-up... "Sen. Cruz, that's not what I asked."

Thank you Texas Tribune for giving Ted Cruz leeway to so eloquently articulate conservative positions on important issues of the day.
For all those old-fart, dinosaur senators like McCain, Graham, Durbin, and Schumer...this is not your father's senate anymore. Cruz, Rubio, Paul and Lee are willing to shine lights on the good-old-boy corruption that has prevailed in the U.S. senate for decades...with all those back-room, closed-door deals that are always made with their cadre of lobbyists by their sides.
Kaye Bailey Hutchison is good example of those dinosaur senators. Did you know that our federal debt was $4 Trillion when Hutchison was first elected senator in 1993?? And that she retired last year, leaving us - and our children - with $16 Trillion in federal debt?? She was complicit in profligate spending that increased our federal debt by 300%. She was the queen of earmarks...who voted for Alaska Senator Ted Stevens "bridge to nowhere" because he voted for her Trinity River "bridge to nowhere". That's what senate bipartisanship has meant the past few decades = you vote for my pork, and I will vote for your pork.
No wonder Hutchison lost to Perry by 25 points in 2010. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shame on the Texas Tribune for not countering some of Cruz' claims.
This individual should not be representing Texas in Washington. Notice that he only states what he believes is wrong with the present state of our government, but he offers no solutions whatsoever.
He claims he's doing what voters sent him to do. We want solutions, Mr. Cruz, not the same old vitriol, the same old dog fighting.
Solutions, Mr. Cruz, not self-agrandizing stunts to obtain the spotlight to further your political career.
