Hell NO. No more charter schools. Fund our public schools first.

If the governor doesn't think public schools need funding then why do charters? He hates public education and has done everything possible to destroy it during his tenure. What possibly would make charters seem better? Maybe it's the fact that they don't have to adhere to the same rules and regulations as public schools. And if those rules and regs are what makes the governor think charters are so much better, maybe they need to go away for everyone.

Perhaps if public schools were to actually perform then the need for charter schools would not be needed.

Amen Karen! I think Texas should pass a law that children of all legislators are required to attend public schools from 1st -12th grade and watch how fast funds are redirected to public schools!
