Well, Lt. Gov. Dewhurst, since you and the Governor have so much time on your hands that youall think that legislators should be able to work two jobs, you are now seeing the writing on the wall. While youall have been making all the cocktail parties and country club scenes, we were running out of drinkable water but then youall drink that bottled stuff and didn't notice, did you? While the public is struggling to make ends meet, you've been using up the states' resources, like there's no tomorrow. Now you want to make us pay for the water plan to buy water we should already have available if youall had managed the water in this state properly. Don't tell me you didn't get warned. You knew, you didn't care and now you want us to fix your problem. Let the corporations pay for it. They use our water to make huge profits, now they can repay us a small part.
